Monument Sizing and Requirements

Each section of the cemetery has specific requirements for monument styles. If the requirements for a section are not listed below, please contact us by email or phone to verify the monument specifications.
Important Reminder:
  • Before finalizing your order with a monument dealer, please verify the monument size with our office. The sizes listed are for monuments intended to cover a single grave. Any monument intended to cover more than one grave must be confirmed with the office.
  • The cemetery is not responsible for any typographical errors in sizing or order details.
Monument Material and Inscriptions:
  • All monuments must be made of granite and may be any color.
  • Inscriptions on the monument must match the name of the individual interred in that specific grave.
  • We cannot allow inscriptions for individuals who are not recorded as interred in the grave.

Calculating Foundation Fees

How to Calculate the Cemetery Foundation Fee
  1. Measure the Foundation Area
    • Multiply the length (in inches) by the width (in inches) to get the total square inches.
    • Example: A 36" x 12" foundation = 432 square inches.
  2. Apply the Foundation Fee
    • Multiply the total square inches by $2.45 per square inch.
    • Example: 432 × $2.45 = $1,058.40.
  3. Add the NJ State Law Maintenance & Preservation Fee
    • Add 10% to the total.
    • Example: $1,058.40 × 1.10 = $1,164.24 (final total).
