Formal Objections to Proposed Grave Reclamation
This page is provided for individuals who have received a Notice of Intent to Reclaim Interment Space published by Arlington Cemetery Association and wish to submit a formal objection.
All objections must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the publication date stated in the reclamation notice.
Submitting an objection does not automatically establish ownership rights or successor rights. Arlington Cemetery Association will review the information provided and determine whether the objection is supported by sufficient documentation.
To allow the cemetery to properly evaluate an objection, the person submitting the form must provide:

- Birth or marriage records establishing family relationships.
- Death certificates.
